We've put out over 60 episodes of the YNA mental health podcast so far, and every one comes back to the same idea: regular people talking honestly about stuff nobody really explains to you growing up. At its core it's a mental health conversations podcast. No script, no expert lecturing at you, just people figuring things out loud. New mental health podcast episodes go up every week. Some lean more toward being a mental health self-help podcast, others dig into mental health awareness podcast or mental illness awareness podcast territory instead.
Some episodes are more of a mental health podcast for teens, others read more like a mental health podcast for young adults trying to survive their twenties. We've also done stretches built specifically as a mental health podcast for men and a mental health podcast for women, because those conversations genuinely don't always sound the same. People write in from all over the world at this point, so this has basically turned into a global mental health podcast without us really planning it. A lot of listeners come back specifically for the mental health support podcast side of things, or for mental health resilience podcast episodes that remind them they're not the only one dealing with whatever they're dealing with.
