You're Not Alone ("YNA," "we," "us," or "our") operates ynamentalhealth.org and the associated podcast, shop, and community. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We respect your privacy and only collect what we need to run the site and serve our community.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Email address (if you subscribe to our newsletter), name and message (if you use our contact form), shipping and billing details (if you place an order through our shop), and anything you submit when pitching to be a guest or sponsor.
- Information collected automatically. Standard analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referrer) collected by Google Analytics 4. We do not use this data to identify you personally.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Small files used for analytics, cart functionality, and remembering preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time; some features may stop working.
How we use information
- To send the newsletter you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To respond to messages you send through the contact form.
- To process and ship orders you place through our shop.
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Service providers we use
We share the minimum data needed with trusted vendors who help us operate:
- Mailchimp — newsletter delivery and list management.
- Shopify — shop checkout, payments, and order fulfillment.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage analytics.
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Sanity — content management for episodes and posts.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle data they receive from us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct or update inaccurate information.
- Request that we delete your information.
- Opt out of marketing emails (every newsletter has an unsubscribe link).
- Opt out of analytics by enabling Do Not Track or using a privacy-focused browser.

Children
YNA is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please email us and we will delete it.
